Meet Larry, the man behind the mission. Larry is originally from Jacksonville, FL and has worked in the construction industry since 1989. In 2004 he relocated to Cocoa, FL and worked as a contractor at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. He loved the work and began trying to get on with a permanent contractor on Center. After a couple of years with Welbro Building Corporation's Hotel and Resort Team he got his chance in 2008 at NASA. Space Gateway Support or SGS needed a construction manager for multiple projects being worked on Center and at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. In the latter part of 2008 a contract change went into effect, which happens quite frequently with the government. Larry was hired on in 2009 by then EG&G of parent company URS Corporation. He managed several high profile projects and received numerous awards both individually and as part of a construction team. Larry was approached in March 2013 by a recruiter for Parsons Saudi Arabia. After several months of interviews, paperwork and medical evaluations, he is cleared to work in Saudi.
